Something we, at Laborie, do fairly regularly is visit other wine farms. We believe it’s both important to support those in our industry and, at the same time, check out what the competition is doing.
This week we visited Môreson and had a delicious lunch at their well-known restaurant Bread & Wine. The setting is sublime and every dish we ordered was excellent. After the experience we enjoyed we suggest, if you’re heading out to Franschhoek, that you pop in to Môreson. That is, of course, only after you’ve been to visit us!
We also enjoyed a spot of wine tasting and a visit to their very cool onsite orchid nursery. It must be said, their Môreson One 2007 Vintage Méthode Cap Classique is awesome.
At Carols by Candlelight at Laborie, this Wednesday, things are going to be cooking! With the night market, the late closing time of the tasting room and more it’s the December Paarl event to attend. What’s more is we still have a few rooms available for those who’d like to make a proper evening out of it.
